between Lutheran Children and Family Service (LCFS), Holy
Family College, and Resources for Change.

The Mission of Lincoln Family Centers is:
- To promote positive child development through effective parenting, early intervention and outreach,
- To support and strengthen the family unit as the foundation of success for children,
- To assure healthy development and healthcare for children,
- To provide a seamless, comprehensive and easily accessible network of services for families, and
- To encourage economic self-sufficiency for families through adult education, training and employment
Guiding principles
Guiding principles include prevention, community self-determination, avoiding the duplication of services, and providing easy access to an array of needed supportive services that will strengthen families and promote self-sufficiency.
The Lincoln Family Center
The Lincoln Family Center is collaboration with Lutheran Children Family Service, Resources for Change and Holy Family College designed to provide community-based programs that include:
- Family Support and Case Management
- School Based Social Work Project
- Information and Referral
- Outreach & Community Development
- After School Programming
Information, referral and direct assistance can be provided to individuals and families across a variety of areas such as:
- Adult Education & Employment
- After School Programs
- Child Day Care, Kindergarten and Head Start
- Counseling
- Domestic Issues
- Drug & Alcohol Treatment
- Emergency Assistance (food, clothing, energy)
- Family Support and Social Work Services
- Health Care & Health Insurance
- Housing Information
- Parenting
- Public Assistance & Welfare-to-Work
- Recreation Programs
- School-related Issues
- Senior Citizens Programs
- And other issues and concerns.
